... I have over 17 years of professional experience in cyber security. I've worked for SOC's, DC's, Small to Large Corporations, Government, Educational Institutions and SaaS companies in my career.
…I’ve also volunteered with various organizations over the years because I strongly believe in giving back. Outside of work, I’m an avid Cleveland Browns and Dallas Mavericks fan, enjoy digital media and building websites, and collect video games, sports memorabilia, and Pokémon cards.

_family
...On my father’s deathbed, I promised him I would always be a role model for my sisters. I was the first in my family to graduate from college, and I gave my all in both high school and college. Since starting my career, I’ve consistently gone above and beyond.
I was originally drawn to this field to help protect my niece, who was a young child at the time, as well as the elderly whom I’ve volunteered to teach how to use technology. Both the young and old are vulnerable to internet crime every day.

_future
...my end game is to someday become a professor. Before I ever get to that point I want to make sure I absorb AS MUCH information as I can.

_excellence
...there weren't many people that looked like me or talked like me when I was going through college in this industry. Every step of the way, from being a Google Scholar to the journey I've had to get where I am at it's been to honor what my family did and the generations I never met went through.

_my past
...I've been studying IT at a college level since 2003. Even before that, I was selling computers I built during my high school years. It will be 20 years in 2026, since I attained my very first degree in cyber security. I have now been in this field professionally for 17 years and there is ALWAYS something new!
